We are seeking a collaborative and dedicated Agricultural Facilities Co-ordinator to support our farming operations in the Northern Territory. About the Opportunity
The Facilities Co-ordinator will be responsible for the associated facilities of the Greenview farming operation.
Greenview is currently establishing the 1st stage of a melon farm, with 120 ha of drip irrigated Seedless watermelons, expanding to 700ha.
What you'll do
Facilities Management & Maintenance
Undertake the maintenance, repair, and servicing of all building facilities and grounds.
Maintain a schedule for regular inspections and ensure adherence to preventive maintenance programs.
Liaise with contractors, vendors, and service providers for facility-related work,
Respond promptly to facilities-related issues (e.g., buildings - finished or under construction), ensuring minimal disruption to the business.
Health & Safety Compliance
Ensure that all facilities comply with health and safety standards.
Conduct safety inspections and maintain records of compliance, identifying and addressing any hazards.
Vendor and Supplier Coordination
Manage relationships with external vendors, service providers, and suppliers.
Ensure timely delivery and quality of services such as repairs, cleaning, waste disposal, security, and landscaping.
Event and Meeting Support
Provide logistical support for company events, meetings, and conferences, ensuring adequate facilities, supplies, and equipment.
Coordinate catering, room setup, and technical support for internal and external events.
What you'll need
5+ years' experience in building trades or facilities maintenance
Demonstrated knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures
Strong organisational and communication abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Experience managing contractors and vendors
Current driver's licence and ability to travel between sites
Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
