Ag Farm Facilities Co-Ordinator (GVF_NT)

We are seeking a collaborative and dedicated Agricultural Facilities Co-ordinator to support our farming operations in the Northern Territory. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to Australia's vital agricultural sector while working with a supportive team committed to maintaining and improving essential farm infrastructure. The position requires someone with strong technical abilities and excellent interpersonal skills.

About the Opportunity

The Facilities Co-ordinator will be responsible for the associated facilities of the Greenview farming operation.

Greenview is currently establishing the 1st stage of a melon farm, with 120 ha of drip irrigated Seedless watermelons, expanding to 700ha.

What you'll do

• Facilities Management & Maintenance

  • Undertake the maintenance, repair, and servicing of all building facilities and grounds.

  • Maintain a schedule for regular inspections and ensure adherence to preventive maintenance programs.

  • Liaise with contractors, vendors, and service providers for facility-related work, 

  • Respond promptly to facilities-related issues (e.g., buildings - finished or under construction), ensuring minimal disruption to the business.

  Health & Safety Compliance

  • Ensure that all facilities comply with health and safety standards.

  • Conduct safety inspections and maintain records of compliance, identifying and addressing any hazards.

  Vendor and Supplier Coordination

  • Manage relationships with external vendors, service providers, and suppliers.

  • Ensure timely delivery and quality of services such as repairs, cleaning, waste disposal, security, and landscaping.

  Event and Meeting Support

  • Provide logistical support for company events, meetings, and conferences, ensuring adequate facilities, supplies, and equipment.

  • Coordinate catering, room setup, and technical support for internal and external events.

What you'll need

• 5+ years' experience in building trades or facilities maintenance

• Demonstrated knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures

• Strong organisational and communication abilities

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

• Experience managing contractors and vendors

• Current driver's licence and ability to travel between sites

• Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
