Overview

We are seeking an experienced Panel Beater to join our client's well-equipped workshop in Australia.

In this role, you will restore and repair vehicle bodies to the highest quality standards, collaborating with a supportive team of automotive professionals.

What you'll do

  • Assess vehicle damage and determine appropriate repair plans

  • Perform high-quality panel beating repairs on damaged vehicle bodies

  • Remove, repair, and replace body panels, chassis components, and structural elements

  • Carry out welding, filling, sanding, and finishing work to manufacturer and industry standards

  • Collaborate with spray painters and other workshop team members to ensure seamless repairs

  • Maintain accurate job documentation, quality control records, and compliance with workshop procedures

  • Ensure all work meets workplace safety, regulatory, and industry standards

  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workspace at all times

What you'll need

  • Trade qualification in Panel Beating or equivalent

  • Minimum 4+ years’ hands-on experience in automotive body repair and refinishing

  • Demonstrated expertise with welding equipment, panel repair, and finishing tools

  • Strong understanding of vehicle construction, repair methods, and industry standards

  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within workshop teams

  • Current Australian driver’s licence
