Disability Support Worker (GES_SA)

Overview

We’re seeking compassionate and reliable Support Workers to provide high-quality, person-centred care to people with disability in Port Pirie.

This role is hands-on and rewarding, focused on empowering clients to live with greater independence, safety, and dignity while achieving their personal goals

What you'll do

• Provide direct support with activities of daily living (personal care, medication, meals,

  transport, home support, respite).

• Support community access, appointments, and participation in social and recreational

  activities.

• Follow individualised care plans to ensure client needs and goals are met.

• Balance duty of care with dignity of risk to encourage client independence.

• Maintain accurate case notes and records in line with NDIS and organisational requirements.

• Contribute positively to team effectiveness and uphold organisational values

What you'll need

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent qualification (desirable)

• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check

• Valid Working with Children Check (employee category)

• Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)

• Demonstrated experience in disability support services

• Strong communication skills and commitment to person-centred care

• Current driver's licence (desirable)
