About the Opportunity

Casa Del Perro Contracting provides a genuine one-stop trade and maintenance service to clients across Katherine, the Top End, and remote Northern Territory locations. The business employs trade-qualified carpenters, heavy equipment mechanics and apprentices, delivering responsive, practical support to regional and remote clients who value reliability, capability and reduced downtime.

The company’s construction services include new builds, renovations and extensions, footings and truss fabrication, sheds, decks, bathrooms and related building works. On the mechanical side, Casa Del Perro Contracting provides fleet maintenance, on-site breakdown support, and Katherine’s only mobile hydraulic hose repair service. The business is continuing to grow, with expanded workshop capability including a planned workshop pit in early 2026.

Casa Del Perro Contracting is focused on delivering well-run work for its crew while helping clients reduce travel costs, equipment downtime and delays in remote areas.

Position Summary

  • Identify parts and consumables required for jobs and communicate these clearly to management or administration.

  • Use tools, diagnostic equipment and workshop resources safely and correctly.

  • Assist in maintaining a clean, organised and safe workshop, vehicle and work environment.

  • Travel as required to regional and remote worksites, stations and communities throughout the Northern Territory.

  • Work cooperatively with carpenters, apprentices and other trades where mechanical support is required on broader projects.

  • Assist with workshop growth and operational improvements as the business expands its mechanical capability.
