Agribusiness Recruit is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to join our client's agricultural business in Western Australia.
In this role, you'll manage all aspects of branch operations while providing collaborative leadership to a dedicated team. You'll support sales staff, empower professional development, and drive performance to achieve and exceed growth and earnings targets.
You’ll be an integral part of the business, building strong relationships with clients and staff, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and contributing to the ongoing success and sustainable growth of the branch.

Guide branch operations and team performance to achieve business targets
Manage all aspects of branch operations in line with the business plan
Contribute to branch, area, and state business planning processes, including budgeting and financial planning
Monitor branch performance against KPIs, budgets, and expenditure
Manage inventory, sales activities, rural products, and financial performance
Build and nurture strong relationships with key agricultural clients and stakeholders
Coach, mentor, and develop staff capabilities through training and performance management
Oversee staffing needs, rostering, leave planning, and team development within budget constraints
Lead, motivate, and empower the branch team to exceed performance targets
Conduct regular team meetings to share financials, safety updates, and growth opportunities
Provide technical, product, and sales guidance to staff
Address underperformance appropriately and manage staff development through formal processes
Act as escalation point for client issues, sales matters, and debtor management
Take an active role in debt collection and credit management
Achieve individual and branch sales and earnings targets, driving referrals and cross-selling opportunities
Lead marketing, promotions, and community engagement, representing the branch at campaigns, field days, client events, and community forums
Ensure compliance with Workplace Health & Safety policies and legislation
Promote a strong safety culture, reporting hazards, incidents, and near misses
Monitor and improve WHS performance, completing required safety modules, audits, and compliance actions

Several years’ experience in the agricultural industry
Experience as a Product Manager and/or Sales Manager
Proven business and branch management experience
Demonstrated success in achieving sales and revenue/earnings targets
Experience managing and leading sales teams (desirable)
Advanced client relationship management skills
Strong commercial acumen and operational planning capabilities
High-level communication, influencing, and negotiation skills
Sound computer skills
Degree in Business or Agriculture (or equivalent experience)
Valid driver’s licence
FSRA Tier 2 (or ability to obtain)
Excellence in team leadership, coaching, mentoring, and staff development
Sales training provided
